Facilities available :

The machines were available as and when required.
The machine provided for A scan Ultrasonic testing (SIUI) is best in echo pattern produced for different types of reflectors which will give additional information for characterization of reflectors.
SIUI SYNC SCAN for PAUT and TOFD is best user friendly machine with good accuracy.
A good silence class room was provided.

Practice specimens:

But welded plates and pipes were available with artificial reflectors for practice.
They were provided for practice until I gain confidence on the pattern of evaluation and interpretation.
After the preparation of the reports for the practice specimen, our results were rechecked by the faculty and doubts was also cleared.

Study materials:

The study materials provided were knowledge oriented.
Hard copy of BS EN ISO standards were available always for ready reference.

Faculty:

The faculty have good practical knowledge too along with theoretical knowledge.
After every class doubts were cleared there and then.

Class room training & Course exam:

After the completion of everyday class exams were conducted to refresh our knowledge.
The choices which went wrong were discussed separately.
Regular practice was given for instruction writing which helped in completing the exam within stipulated time.
Separate discussions with different case for understanding the acceptance criteria given in the codes was conducted.
